Hi and welcome to #EVOMC15 <-- note our tag!  We think we've set things up here so that you can figure out what to do (hint, a good start would be http://tinyurl.com/evomc15-week1).  You can join that document, post to 'introductions' here, post to 'Questions Needing Attn' if you want quick help, and post to 'Week 1' or 'discussion' anything else relevant. Stay tuned for events to be posted Jan 14, Jan 25, and Feb 08. For now, let the fun begin :-)
Hi everyone I'm Vance, Minecraft Noob and one of the moderators of this #evomc15 session. My goal here is to learn along with you how to engage my students with Minecraft. This post models a start at a 3,2,1 introduction (3 things you should know about me, 2 of my favorite activities, and the last one is optional - something surprising about you, your dream job, a challenge you would like to conquer, whatever). This intro will have a LINK which I can share with you here http://tinyurl.com/evomc15-week1 and come back and edit later. I plan to make a tellagami of my 3,2,1 but some people do PPTs or use one of the many tools here http://ebookevo.pbworks.com/w/page/71614805/Webtools

What you should know about me
1. I'm an ESL teacher and coordinator of http://webheads.info
2. I interact at places listed at http://adVancEducation.blogspot.com
3. I coordinate weekly webinars at http://learning2gether.net

My favorite activities, apart from teaching and learning
1. I'm a scuba diving instructor http://vancesdiveblogs.blogspot.com
2. I love to exercise by caving, hiking and running regularly

Last but not least
1. I don't know how to play Minecraft but I know how to LEARN :-)
